A bit about us
You in Mind has provided therapies since 2004 and has been providing training courses since 2011 under the previous owner, therapist and trainer, Diane.
Over the years Diane not only became our therapist and trainer but also our friend and mentor. When she decided to take early retirement in 2020 we were so pleased to become the new owners of You in Mind and it is our pledge to continue to provide the high standard of customer care and training course delivery that is synonymous with You in Mind.
We are Sally (left) and Tracey (right). We have been best of friends for many years, each previously running our own individual therapy businesses. Fate has now thrown us together as business partners - doing what we love and loving what we do!

Sally Carter - Therapist & Trainer
Having a passion for health and wellbeing since I was 13 years old, it was no surprise to anyone that I ended up becoming a therapist - doing what I love to help people feel better, both in body and mind.
I offer a wide range of therapies and am now studying to become an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist. My ultimate goal is to offer pain management clinics whereby people can learn how to take a more active role in their own wellness and `learn how to listen to their body when it whispers – not wait until it screams’.
My other passion is training. I have been delivering training courses for nearly 10 years and provide a high standard of practical training to enable other therapists to offer the best care to their clients.
Tracey McPhillips - Therapist
I believe that life is too short to be miserable and yet I found myself doing work that, in some cases, caused me more stress than fulfilment of any kind. I wanted something that would enable me to reach out to others and be able to offer them help and support.
About 8 years ago I came across Diane when I enrolled on her Mindfulness & Meditation course, which was amazing and I still practice to this day. Diane also opened my mind to `Holistic Therapies’. I had been to spas and pamper sessions in the past but this was something different. This was treating the person as an individual, as a whole, helping care for the mind, body and spirit. THIS is what I had been looking for.
I have been providing therapies for over 5 years now and recently gained qualification in Jon Kabat-Zin’s ‘Opening to our Lives’ mindfulness course and am currently studying to become a training course provider. It just goes to show that you are never to old to learn or to change direction - life really is too short to be miserable.
